My name is Alyssa Leshko and I am from Cinnaminson, New Jersey. I am a Fashion Merchandising major at Immaculata University. Growing up my love for apparel and art was no secret-with that I had the wonderful opportunity to explore Europe which opened my eyes and made my love for the industry even more clear. I am fascinated by history, architecture, design and so much more which I then related to course specific projects. Within the following courses (Draping, Flat Pattern, Construction I & II, Industry Challenge) have allowed me to find my true niche within the industry. Studying with dual minors: Product Development & Buying I have effectively observed and understood the true product life cycle from start to finish throughout my internships. Driven to continue learning across all spectrums of the industry. Crazy to think my time at Immaculata is coming to an end December 2022. I am beyond grateful to say I have accepted a position with QVC as Assistant Technical Designer. Within all the roles I've held from corporate to retail I have learned valuable skills that I will carry with me.
